Ramón’s journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from The City College of New York, followed by an MBA from Xavier University, and a law degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University, all completed with honors. 🎓 His extensive credentials include admission to practice before the United States Patent & Trademark Office, several state and federal courts, and even the Supreme Court of the United States.
Before becoming an attorney, Ramón dedicated 12 years to engineering, laying a solid foundation for his nearly two-decade-long career in Intellectual Property (IP). His stint at a large boutique law firm in Cincinnati saw him develop a profound passion for IP, which he carried into an in-house role with a Sweden-based multinational company. In this capacity, Ramón played a pivotal part in a team that secured a landmark victory in patent law before the U.S. Supreme Court. 🏅
Today, Ramón leads The PatentXL Law Firm, focusing on helping small businesses and entrepreneurs protect their IP assets. His Peruvian heritage and dedication to excellence make him a standout addition to our WILL community.
