After completing his undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana and earning his LL.M. in Vienna, Leon began his career as a legal advisor to financial institutions. His expertise flourished in an international law firm in Vienna, where he advised on banking and private equity transactions, along with commercial matters in South-Eastern Europe.
Returning to Slovenia in 2018, he gained valuable experience at the Ljubljana Higher Court and the Higher Labour and Social Court, focusing on civil law and labor disputes. After honing his skills in a commercial law firm, Leon embarked on his journey as an independent attorney-at-law (odvetnik) in 2024.
His practice specializes in company law (including M&A), employment law, financial law, and general civil law. Clients appreciate his cross-border expertise, navigating the complexities of multiple jurisdictions. Additionally, Leon is a certified interpreter for German, adding to his versatile skill set.
His motto, “Understand the bigger picture,” reflects his holistic approach to legal challenges.
